This residential project focuses on designing a nursery within a rental property located in a quiet mews in Notting Hill, just moments from the vibrant Portobello Road.
Design / Define
The brief was to create a serene, relaxing yet playful space for both mother and baby. With the family likely to relocate, the design needed to be practical, cost-effective and non-permanent, combining a soft Scandinavian feel with the charm of a traditional West London mews home.
Create / Deliver
To achieve a dreamy atmosphere without permanent changes, removable wall stickers were used in place of paint, framed with subtle arched motifs. A plush polka-dot rug, simple wooden shelving and natural toys add warmth and character, creating a cosy setting for early reading and quiet moments. The result is a calm, nurturing nursery with a gentle sense of magic.
